About Humans 4 Fun!

Humans 4 Fun creates tools for people who want to understand themselves better.

The focus is not on fixing other people, assigning blame or proving who was right. It is on becoming more aware of what happens inside you: the emotions you react from, the patterns you repeat, the assumptions you carry and the parts of yourself that may be operating outside your conscious awareness.

That kind of self-exploration requires honesty, curiosity and a certain willingness to take responsibility for your own inner world. Humans 4 Fun is therefore intended mainly for adults with enough life experience to recognise that the most useful questions are not always about what other people should change.

Tools for self-discovery

A useful tool does not need to tell you what to think.

It can help you slow down, look at a situation from another angle and notice something you had not seen before. It can help you put words to an emotion, recognise a recurring pattern or discover that your first explanation was not the only possible one.

Humans 4 Fun aims to create tools that support:
self-discovery;
greater self-awareness;
insight into unconscious patterns;
emotional clarity;
new perspectives;
personal responsibility.

The tools are not built around one fixed format. They may take the form of web tools, written exercises, printable materials, games, board games or other creative formats.

The format may change. The purpose remains the same: each tool should offer a genuine opportunity to discover something about yourself.

Reflexion

Reflexion is the first web tool created by Humans 4 Fun.

It guides you through a structured exploration of an emotional reaction or difficult situation. Rather than concentrating only on what happened externally, Reflexion invites you to examine what the experience may reveal about your own emotions, interpretations and underlying patterns.

It will probably not offer much to someone whose only goal is to establish who is to blame. It is intended for people who are prepared to look inward, even when that is uncomfortable, and who are open to the possibility that greater awareness can create greater freedom.

What Humans 4 Fun may become

Humans 4 Fun is still growing.

Future projects may include additional web tools, paper-based tools, games, board games and other forms of interactive self-exploration. Some may be serious, some playful and some unexpected.

They will not all look alike, but they should meet the same basic standard: they must be genuinely useful for self-discovery and capable of helping people see themselves with greater clarity.

You can follow the development of Humans 4 Fun on the blog

How far the project develops will also depend on whether people find value in it and want to support, use or help bring further ideas to life.

If you have used one of the tools, you are welcome to share your experience or suggestions.

The Human Being behind Humans 4 Fun

Humans 4 Fun was created by Niki Savantes, an independent maker trained as an integrative coach, with substantial experience in coaching and teaching.

Niki Savantes previously created a blog about victimhood and abuse, and has continued to explore the ways in which people understand themselves, change perspective and become more conscious of the forces shaping their behaviour.

The project also grows from a broader creative background. As an art therapist, painter, sculptor, designer, musician and maker, Niki Savantes is interested in forms of self-discovery that go beyond conventional advice, lectures or self-help books.

Humans 4 Fun brings these different strands together: psychology, coaching, teaching, creativity and the belief that a well-designed question, exercise or game can reveal what explanations alone cannot.
